Goat Crashers
Picture
Goat Crashers is a trial-and-error-based PC game I worked on at the 2016 Global Game Jam at Hampshire College.
The main objective of the game is to free goats hanging from a conveyor belt before they are sacrificed by cultists.
By experimenting with combinations of the WASD keys, players attempt to help their goats wiggle free and escape.
If the goat is not freed by the end of the screen, it is dropped into a pit and sacrificed.
If too many goats are lost, the game is over.

Creath Carter was our Lead Designer, Lead Programmer, and Background Artist.
I was our Character Designer, 2-D Goat Artist, and Assistant Game Designer.
Timothy Adan was our music and sound effects composer.

The gameplay was scripted in Unity via PlayMaker's FSM editor, with the graphical assets created in Photoshop and Paint Tool SAI.
Although we did not officially finish within the 48-hr-time slot, the game was completed within 3 full days.

To play Goat Crashers, you can play an embedded version here
(Firefox/Internet Explorer strongly recommended, it does not work on Google Chrome!)
or download the game.
