Hey! I'm Sam, and I'm a game developer who loves community management and production!
I'm a Studio Art major grad from Smith College, and over the past six years I've been making PC and mobile games.
I've always been dedicated to the telling stories. My work ethic was recognized by my peers when I was nominated as Lead Artist two weeks into a project, when I was awarded the Star Coordinator Award for my management work at Girls Make Games, and when I took on Producer and Creative Director roles on my independent projects.
My strong interest in production and marketing eventually led me to community management, and I have loved working for the community alongside my development team. I love devising ways to optimize our social reach and coordinating marketing plans with our publisher to match the best interests of our players and our team.
In my spare time, I love contributing art for benefits and charity, working with Girls Make Games to teach young girls how to code games, curating the Student Games category for our local Boston Festival of Indie Games, and actively play Pokémon GO!
I'm highly interested in media that tell stories and make people laugh, whether that's through games or animation.

I'm experienced with:
- kanban, lean, agile, scrum, and waterfall project management with daily/weekly stand-up meetings
- pitching to and working with game publishers during pre-production through live-ops
- recording game footage and making assets such as trailers and banners for marketing
- moderating and engaging with large player communities
- working with multiple external contractors and managing a timeline to ensure all assets are delivered on time
